Well here’s a little bit about me.

I am a Christian of 22 years, having become a Christian at university.  I have a heart for God’s presence, the Kingdom, prayer, revival and the church. I have known fantastic times, and really hard times (I was ill with ME and various neurological problems for about 6 1/2 years, but God healed me).  In the near future I will put another page on with my testimony so you can understand something of the journey I have been on to get to where I am now!

I am Andy’s wife and Isaac’s mum.

  1. I have enjoyed browsing your blog, Theresa. Would you do me a favour? Would you be good enough to visit mine and say what you think? It is with Blogger rather than WordPress, and I have one of their ‘Dynamic Views’, which, as you’ll see, means the pictures of each posting catch your eye at first, but the personal info pops out only when you click on it on the right. And this type (WordPress) just seem ‘cleaner’ and more straightforward. Plus you have a Twitter update which I don’t think is possible on Blogger. Unless I change to a static view…Would be glad of some reaction from a long term blogger (with an awful lot of followers!!) Cheers. Happy writing.

    • Hi Claire,

I love your blog, its really great! I am glad that you enjoyed browsing my blog.

I was with Blogger before I came to WordPress, I got fed up the interface, and liked the WordPress blogs of people that I had seen, so I swapped, and I am glad that I did. The interface is so much easier to use and also much more adaptable, and you can share your posts on Twitter, Facebook and other social media (it only does it once when it is first published, I then just change it slightly and repost during the day to reach different tweeps throughout the day using Tweetdeck). I could put pictures in but at the moment I can’t afford stock photos, so unless they are my own pictures I don’t use any, although I can always put some in later.

Hope this is helpful, happy blogging!

  2. Thanks! Yes I really enjoyed everything I read here. Your comments about Blogger vs WordPress were interesting…can you move a whole blog over from one to the other? I suspect not. I’d have to start again, right?

    • Hi Claire, thanks again. I’m really glad that enjoyed everything you read.
Sadly, you can’t move your blog over. I saved the content from my last blog to Onenote (I think you can also get Blogger to save it to your hard drive) and may well blog them on here at some point, although for me I also slightly changed the content and focus of my blog as well.
Despite having to start all over again, I found it well worth the move and that I have actually grown more in blogging here beyond what I could have done with Blogger’s platform.
      Take care, Theresa

  3. Just jumping in on this conversation quickly – you can have Twitter updates etc on blogger – I looked at changing to wordpress when I blogged more frequently – but I didn’t really get on with it as well as Blogger – so stuck with it and am still happy with it. (I blog at http://www.joroyal.com )

    • Hi Jo,

Thanks for joining in the conversation, I think it is a case of finding the platform that works best for you! At the moment I’m using WordPress and I get on with it much better. Will I always use it for my personal blog? I honestly can’t say! But at the moment it serves my purposes!

      God Bless,
